Residential Treatment Program

Lund Family Center offers Residential Treatment in an 18-bed facility with 24-hour counseling staff, on-site nursing staff, and access to comprehensive treatment services eligibility is restricted to pregnant and parenting young women with a substance abuse and/or mental health diagnosis.

Services include a State approved educational program, prenatal and postpartum health services, mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, peer support, infant and toddler childcare, life skills and parenting education.

A team of professionals whose goal is to help all clients reach their full potential staffs this program. Residential Treatment provides a safe, supportive, and supervised environment where residents explore parenting options, pursue educational and vocational goals, and enhance parenting skills All women participate in therapeutic programming designed to promote their emotional and physical health.

An Average Day

The typical day for a participant of the Residential Program includes structured activities such as substance abuse treatment, school, work or job searching, individual and group therapy sessions, life skills and parenting classes, attending medical appointments, and spending time in our on-site childcare.

Who Can Apply?

The Residential Treatment Program caters to the needs of women across Vermont as well as other neighboring states. All clients are eligible for Vermont Medicaid, Reach Up, and are required to work with the Office of Child Support.

Referral Process

Any person interested in finding out more information about the program can contact the Clinical Coordinator at 1-802-864-1615 or 1-802-864-7467. After contacting the Clinical Coordinator, they will schedule a time to meet in order to determine whether the individual is appropriate for treatment.
