Stories of Success
At Lund Family Center, we are constantly amazed, affected, and inspired by the personal stories we hear from current and former clients.
The following stories illustrate the life-changing work of Lund Family Center and the dedication of our clients to improving their and their children’s lives.
We thank the clients, former clients, volunteers, Board of Trustees, community and staff for being willing to share their stories here.
- Nicole and Beth-Ann's Story
Nicole is a single mom in the Residential Program who is also a part of the Replication Program. Nicole and Beth-Ann work in the Glen Road kitchen, working to prepare meals for staff, moms and children each day. Read Nicole's story to see what the Replication Program offers in terms of training and supports.
- Cricket and Elizabeth's Story
The moving story of a family who has adopted through Lund several times - and the journey of their family to get the support their family and children needed educationally and emotionally.
- Sharon's Story
Sharon is an adoptive mom through Lund's Adoption Services. After September 2008's adoption picnic, she wrote this touching story back to the staff about her reflections about adoption, the picnic and what it means to her family.
- Ann Bielawski's Story
Ann is one of our most loyal volunteers - helping with mailings, phonathons, baking, school supplies, moral support and so much more. This was from a ceremony honoring Ann in Montpelier. It's people like Ann that make much of our work possible!
- Alice Greenwood's Story
Alice was recently honored as Lund Family Center's "Staff Member of the Year." See what it takes to be a standout among an amazingly dedicated staff!
