Search and Reunion Services

Lund Family Center is committed to serving all members of the adoption triad. Our comprehensive Search Services are available to birth parents, adoptees, siblings and grandparents. Please see the VT Adoption Registry brochure for details.

Lund Family Center can provide adoptees with background information available in their adoption file, and assist with searches in accordance with the Vermont State Adoption Laws. We conduct searches on behalf of adopted adults (age 18 and older), birth parents, and/or adoptive parents who have received permission from the probate court to search for one another or to obtain an updated medical history.

As part of this process, Lund Family Center will facilitate the exchange of medical/genetic information and provide support to all individuals involved in the search process - those who are initiating the search, as well as those whom we contact - in accordance with Vermont State Adoption Laws.

Lund Family Center provides lifelong support to adoptees, birth parents, birth siblings, and other members of the birth and adoptive family.
