Typical Costs Associated with Adoption
Local
The term "local" refers to the fact that children are relinquished directly through Lund Family Center. It does not refer to what state the birthmother is from or where the child is born. Although the majority of birthmothers reside at Lund Family Center, some live at home and seek relinquishment counseling and other services from Lund Family Center. In some cases, there may be additional expenses including, but not limited to legal, medical, court, foster care, and those of the birthmother. These fees will be the responsibility of the adoptive couple. Additional fees will be discussed before placement of the child.
